At Candlebark Ridge, our bespoke tiny home offers a thoughtfully curated stay where every detail invites calm and comfort.

We hold accreditation from the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT) as a Quality Tourism and Sustainable Tourism accredited business, demonstrating our compliance with rigorous environmental standards for tourism standards in Australia.

Where you’ll Rest

The star of the show? A king-sized bed surrounded by huge picture windows with views of bushland, farmland, and the ocean that’ll make you forget your phone exists.

The butterflied roofline provides a sense of grandeur and space - the king bed platform is surrounded by two large picture frame windows which allow guests to gaze endlessly at the ever-changing landscapes throughout their stay.

Warmth? Sorted. There are two forms of heating in the tiny home.

For those who love the ambience of a wood fire, a “Mini Meg” wood fire by the New Zealand-owned company Roaring Meg Fires. Plus an in-built biodiesel fan heater, which turns on and off at the touch of a button.

In summer, a ceiling fan above the bed keeps things breezy.

Handmade Luxe

The bathroom is thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind: it boasts a spacious shower, a handcrafted ceramic basin, and a low-maintenance composting toilet that is both waterless and odourless.

We currently use Zero Co products throughout the tiny home, which are chemical free and made using recycled plastic waste from the ocean.

We’ve stocked the pantry with the essentials: Ritual ground coffee, teas, hot choccy, sugar, rice, pasta, granola, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a mix of herbs and spices.

You’ll also have a Moccamaster drip coffee machine, an Arke carbonator, and cocktail making supplies — including dried fruit garnishes for that fancy finishing touch.

There is a generously sized galley kitchen, a large fridge/freezer and a movable island bench which faces east, providing stunning views of the surrounding bushland and ocean from indoors.
